Today’s card uses one of the NEW Sale-a-bration items: Reverse Words Stamp Set!! It comes with two phrases: Hooray and Cheers. I’m using Hooray today.
I’m also using an idea from Brian King – stamping more words within the smudge – which I thought adds a great touch!
My card uses Watermelon Wonder cardstock as its base. I took a pattern from the Carried Away DSP and matted it on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card.
I took a smaller panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on some Watermelon Wonder cardstock and then stamped the “Hooray” in Mint Macaron ink. I then stamped the “It’s Your Day” in Night of Navy ink from the Confetti Celebration Stamp Set.
Lastly I created two balloons using Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder cardstock and the Balloon Bouquet Punch (smaller of the two balloons). I tied some Night of Navy Baker’s Twine to the bottom of each balloon and then knotted the string underneath the sentiment. I adhered the one balloon using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
