Special Reason - Cutouts

This week the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is bringing you a sketch challenge. Enjoy hopping around!

My card starts off with Blushing Bride as my base which I layered with Whisper White. I then took a piece of Sahara Sand and cut out the flower and stem and petals from it using the Stylish Stems Framelits (included in the Special Reasons Bundle for 10% off).

It’s a little hard to tell from the picture, but the paper behind the flower is a pattern from the Falling In Love DSP. Behind the stem and petals I placed a piece of Soft Sky cardstock. I adhered all this over the Whisper White.

I cut out a piece of Whisper White cardstock (using the framelits) and stamped the small petal (stamping off first) in Soft Sky over it. I then stamped the sentiment in Sahara Sand over that. I cut out two larger petals and two smaller petals in Soft Sky and added them around the sentiment and flower.
