Stampin' Up! 3D Magnolia Flower Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Mossy Meadow cardstock which I layered with a pattern from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.

Next I cut a panel of Basic Black cardstock in a banner. I stamped the sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set in Versamark ink on it, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Next I used the GORGEOUS Magnolia Memory Dies to create a 3D magnolia. I cut out two of the larger petal and one each the medium and small petals. I used a dauber and Daffodil Delight ink to add a yellow highlight to the center. I then cut out the center of the flower from Basic Black cardstock.

I used the same dies to cut out four leaves from Mossy Meadow cardstock to adhere under the magnolia. Lastly I wound around some Silver Thread under the magnolia and added a few rhinestones around it.
