This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!
All this week I’m focusing on Designer Series Paper. All my cards use DSP and I’m sharing my favorite ways to use it.
Many of the images on the Designer Series Paper are patterns of actual images of something. You then can look amongst your stamps to find stamped images that coordinate with the pattern.
For example, the pattern from the Poinsettia Pattern DSP that I used today has pinecones, so I paired it with the pinecones from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set!
My card starts off with Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I then matted a pattern from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper on Soft Suede cardstock and offset a panel of Garden Green cardstock underneath.
I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla ink and cut it out with the coordinating Tasteful Labels Dies. I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the pinecones from the Peaceful Boughs Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. I cut it out using the Beautiful Boughs Dies and added a ribbon above it.
