Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy Thoughts Card

This week I’m using the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set for my cards.

It’s a unique stamp set, in that it’s FREE with a $100 order starting January 5th!

This week’s Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop colors work beautifully with it. I chose to use Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, and Mossy Meadow.

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock.

I then embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Gingham Embossing Folder.

Next I stamped the floral image from the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.

I used the “filler” images to stamp the petals in Calypso Coral (stamping off first for a lighter shade), leaves in Granny Apple Green (stamping off first), and center of the flower in Crumb Cake ink.

I then fussy cut the flower out.

Behind the flower, I wound around some Natural Finish Ribbon and then adhered the flower over it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink and cut it out with the Tailor Made Tags Dies and wound a Linen Thread bow in the hole.

Lastly, I added some Calypso Coral from the pack of Iridescent Pastel Gems (available starting Jan 5th).
