Stampin' Up! Bird Banter

I love Stampin Up’s Designer Series Paper. It’s one of the first things I ever purchased.

It’s really high quality and I love that the packaging tells you what colors are used. I’m a little OCD and I love that it makes creating a matchy-matchy card so easy!

The cloud pattern comes from the Myths & Magic DSP and is so fun. It really could be used for so many images – rainbows, birds, scenery – the “skies” the limit…did you see what I did there?! 😉

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock which I layered with that fun cloud pattern from the Myths & Magic DSP.

I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the branch and the two birds from the Bird Banter Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I colored them in using the Soft Sky, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and a tiny bit of Light Bermuda Bay (for the center of the flowers) Stampin’ Blends markers. I matted this on a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock. adhered the cardstock to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Pool Party ink and added a few Glitter Epoxy Shapes around it.

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Global Design Project challenge which is a CASE (copy and selectively edit) the Designer challenge. I was definitely inspired by the colors in Stesha’s card, as well as how everything was tucked into one corner.
