This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge.
My card today starts with Old Olive cardstock. I took a panel of Basic Black cardstock and used the Card Front Builder thinlits to die cut either end of it. I matted it on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card.
I then cut out a panel from one of the patterns from the Merry Little Christmas DSP just big enough to cover the vertical lines that were cut out from the Basic Black cardstock. I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Carols of Christmas stamp set in Archival Black ink and then cut it out using the Layering Ovals Framelits.
I then stamped the poinsettias from the Carols of Christmas stamp set in Real Red ink and the leaves in Old Olive ink on Whisper White cardstock and cut them out using the Card Front Builder thinlits. I adhered the poinsettias using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Enjoy!
