Today’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!
My card today starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and matted it on Mossy Meadow cardstock.
On the Whisper White, I used the Christmas Pines stamp set and stamped the pines in Mossy Meadow ink. I also cut out a bunch of pines from Mossy Meadow and Old Olive cardstock using the Pretty Pines Thinlits.
Next I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I then matted this on Gold Foil and wound behind it some Gold Thread.
I used the Pretty Pines Thinlits to create a pinecone using Early Espresso cardstock and Gold Foil. I tied a Linen Thread bow over the top of it.
Enjoy!

What a beautiful card Jaimie! The pine boughs are the perfect backdrop for your holiday sentiment, great colors! 🙂
Mary D. is going to love your card…I know I do!
Beautiful card Jaimie 😊 Really love the way you put that gold metallic thread behind.
LOVE!! Pines and pinecones – all in perfect colors. Have to look close to see that they’re not real! Gorgeous!!
This gets my vote for using pines and pinecones! Love your color choices and the way you stamped some and die cut others. Anyone would be pleased to receive this one. Fantastic!
Love the pine bough background. Great take on the sketch challenge too. Love the sentiment in the white!
