Today’s card was inspired by this week’s TGIF Challenge.
I knew from the first time I saw the new Annual Catalog, I wanted the Coffee Café Bundle. Not only is it super cute and adorable (and I love the colors), but I can see it being used for thank you cards for teachers, cute thank you favors, masculine cards, etc.
My card today starts off with Soft Sky cardstock. I took a pattern from the Coffee Break DSP and matted it on Soft Suede cardstock and adhered it to the card. I then took a panel of Soft Sky cardstock and matted it on Soft Suede cardstock and adhered that to the card. (What can I say, I love layers.)
I created my coffee cup using the new Coffee Café Bundle. I cut the cup itself out using Crumb Cake cardstock and the lid using Whisper White cardstock. The cup holder I cut using Soft Suede cardstock. The framelit that cuts it out also embossing it – so cool! I stamped the sentiment using Soft Suede ink.
Under the cup I cut a piece of Crumb Cake ribbon and tied a bow at the one end using Linen Thread. I then stamped some coffee beans (Soft Suede ink) and cut them out and placed them around the coffee cup.

That’s awesome Jaimie!! The background paper is perfect and I love the embossed coffee sleeve with the little coffee beans all around the cup. Great card! 🙂
