Stampin’ Up! Decorative Borders Thank You Cards

This week I’m sharing cards that use the Decorative Borders Stamp.

I needed a bunch of cards, as after Christmas I always make thank you cards for my kids to send to family for Christmas gifts.
I used the Stamparatus to easily create multiples of the same design.

For my kids, signing the thank you cards has become “their thing.”

They always race to see who can sign the card last and it usually goes like this…
“Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for the Christmas gift. Love, your favorite grandchild.”

Then the next kids signs…
“Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for the Christmas gift. Love, who we all know is really your favorite grandchild.”
And so on. 🙂

My card starts off with Flirty Flamingo cardstock.
(The other colors I used were Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Pale Papaya, and Fresh Freesia.)

I then adhered a Flirty Flamingo pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper to the card.

On a Basic White panel, I stamped the two floral images from the Decorative Borders Stamp and Sentiment from the Kind & Sincere Stamp in Memento Black ink.

I colored it in using Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered it to another Basic White panel.

Thanks for swinging by today!
Be sure to mark your calendar on January 5th when the new catalog starts!!
