This week I’m using the gorgeous Flowing Flowers Stamp Set for my cards. It has beautiful floral images, as well as really sweet sentiments!
I thought it fits well with this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Theme – Spring. When I think spring, I think flowers!
My card starts off with Blushing Bride cardstock.
I then used the one floral image from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set and using a dauber added Blushing Bride ink, Old Olive ink, and Sahara Sand ink to it. By using a dauber, you add ink to just certain spots of the stamp and get a multi-colored stamped image.
I then matted this on another panel of Basic White and adhered it to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive ink and cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I used the Tasteful Labels Dies to cut out a Blushing Bride banner, snipped it in half, and adhered each half to either end of the rectangle.
Lastly, I wound around some Basic White ribbon behind the sentiment and then added a couple of Polished Dots around.
