I’m continuing this week using the Forever Fern Stamp Set for my cards.
But, actually today I’m just using the coordinating dies, the Forever Flourishing Dies for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.
My color of choice for the challenge was Calypso Coral.
My card starts off with Calypso Coral cardstock, which I embossed with the Fern Embossing Folder.
Next, I took a Basic Black panel and initially intended to cut the leaf out of it using the Forever Flourishing Dies, but when I took it out, the leaf stayed in the cardstock and I loved the way it looked so kept it as such.
I offset a panel of Basic White cardstock behind the Basic Black cardstock.
Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips Stamp Set in Calypso Coral ink, cutting it out with the Layering Circles Dies.
Lastly, I added a Black and White Gingham bow next to the sentiment and some pearls around.
Thank you for checking out my card today!!
