I’m having fun this week using the Friendly Seagulls Stamp Set, which is free right now during Sale-a-bration with a $60 order!
I’ve seen a ton of cards that people have made with it and loved this idea of creating posts for the seagulls to stand on.
(To be honest I’m not sure who to give the original credit to, as I saw lots of people use this idea, but it’s definitely not my original idea.)
Friendly Seagulls Card Details:
My card first starts off with Misty Moonlight cardstock.
Then on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the birds at the top in Memento Black ink.
I then ripped off the edge of some Crumb Cake cardstock for the bottom and stamped the seashells on it a couple of times in Crumb Cake ink.
Next I cut down two strips of patterned paper from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper for the posts.
I then stamped the seagulls in Memento Black ink and colored them in with Pale Papaya and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.
I fussy cut them out and adhered them to the top of the posts.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink, trimmed the ends in a banner, and wound around some Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine to go underneath.
