This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop them is Halloween Fun. Have fun hopping around to see what everyone’s created.
Please keep in mind – Several of us had Irma roll through our areas and knock out power so there may be a few links that aren’t working quite right if you run through the hop early. Hopefully there won’t be any hiccups, but please be patient with us if there are. We’ll get them fixed just as quickly as we can.
My card starts off with Pumpkin cardstock. I used the Merry Café stamp set and stamped the little spider webs in Archival Black ink in two corners. I stamped the Halloween sentiment from the Labels to Love in Archival Black ink on Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then fussy cut out the bats to adhere next to the spider webs.
I took a pattern from the A Whole Lot of Lovely DSP and matted it on Basic Black cardstock and adhered it to the card. Using the Large Letters Framelits, I cut out the letters to spell “Boo” using Pumpkin Pie cardstock.
I stamped the same Halloween sentiment from before using the Labels to Love stamp set, this time fussy cutting out the smaller sentiment. I adhered it above a strip of Shimmery Basic Black ribbon.
Then…
I saw these super cute Tic Tac Halloween candies at my local grocery store and decided to create a 3D holder for them. Although I’ve made 3D projects before, I’ve never come up with the dimensions myself – so this was wayyyyy out of my comfort zone. I’m pleased with the way it came out and even learned a thing or two along the way.
Enjoy!
