Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday

Well, for today’s card I wanted to feature (again) the new Petals & Paisleys NEW DSP. It’s available in only three days.

It’s funny to think that I almost didn’t purchase the Petals & Paisleys Suite from the new Holiday Catalog. It was definitely a last minute decision, but I have to say – It’s the stamp set I keep going for and am having to show some restraint because I literally just want to keep using it.

Anyways, back to my card…I started with some Dapper Denim as my base card. I then added a beautiful – a gorgeous – an irresistible pattern from the Petals & Paisleys DSP, matted over some Very Vanilla.

Next I cut a strip of Rich Razzleberry to go horizontal over the DSP and added a coordinating Mint Macaron bow over it.

Finally, I stamped the fun sentiment using the Stylized Birthday Stamp Set in Rich Razzleberry and added some other shapes from the Paisleys & Posies Stamp Set. I cut it out using the Layering Ovals and also cut out the next size bigger in Dapper Denim, adhering them to the center of the card.
