This week I’ve been using the Happy Hibiscus Bundle for my cards.
I really had to think about how I could use it for this week’s sketch challenge, but I’m really happy with how it came out!
Happy Hibiscus Card Details:
My card starts off with Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
On that I adhered a pattern from the Full of Life Designer Series Paper.
(PS – this pack of patterned paper works great with the Happy Hibiscus Bundle with the bright, tropical colors!)
Next I covered up two of the hibiscus flowers with Post-It Notes, removed the notes, inked up the larger flower with Blueberry Bushel ink, and stamped it across a piece of Basic White cardstock three times.
I then matted this on another panel of Basic White cardstock.
Next I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it and then snipped the bottom in a banner.
Lastly, under the sentiment, I wound around some Gold Thread.
Thanks for swinging by today and checking out my card.
