Stampin’ Up! Hearts Come Home

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps challenge and Inspire. Create Challenges.

My card starts off with Basic Black cardstock which I layered with a pattern from the Merry Little Christmas DSP.  I took a panel of Old Olive cardstock and matted it on a panel of Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card.

I took another pattern from the Merry Little Christmas DSP and cut the end in a banner and adhered it over the Old Olive cardstock.  I wrapped around and tied a bow using Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine.

For the sentiment, I used the Hearts Come Home stamp set.  I first covered the “bright” in Washi Tape and inked up the “merry &” in Memento Black ink.  I pulled off the washi tape and stamped it on the cardstock.  I then covered the “merry &” in washi tape and inked up the “bright,” took off the washi tape, and stamped it on the cardstock.  I stamped the house in Memento Black ink and the trees in Old Olive ink above the sentiment.
