Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Card

All this week I’ve been using the Hello Ladybug Bundle for my cards. It’s super cute and makes me happy!

And it fit perfectly with this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop sketch.

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock.

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and embossed it with the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder.

Next I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies, and cut out a Pool Party rectangle.

I used the Amazing Thanks Dies to cut out a Basic White and Poppy Parade “thanks” which I adhered down using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I used the Ladybug Builder Punch and cut out two ladybugs from Basic Black cardstock. I stamped the wings in Poppy Parade ink and cut them out with the same punch.

Lastly, I added a couple of black matte dots around.

  1. I’m wondering if anyone has played with doing a cut to print with a Cricut, then doing the stamping/die cutting/fussy cutting later? I like to print my verses so they look professional, and am wondering if this is doable.
