Fussy cutting…
You either hate it or love it. I didn’t like it for the longest time, but I’ve come to really enjoy it and find it relaxing.
However, the Joyful Holly Stamp Set really put my skills to the test.
My card starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock. I then matted a pattern from the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper on Whisper White cardstock.
I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.
I adhered down a Vellum Square Doily and adhered the sentiment over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the outline image from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I stamped the holly in Shaded Spruce and the berries in Cherry Cobbler ink and then cut it out using with Paper Snips.
If you’re fussy cutting – you NEED these scissors. They’re super sharp and small which makes it easy to get in tight spaces.
