Stampin’ Up! Nested Essentials Dies Hello Card

This week I’ve been using the Nested Essentials Dies for my cards.

I used it to make a banner for my sentiment for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!

Nested Essentials Dies Card Details:

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock, on which I adhered a pattern from the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and matted it on Calypso Coral cardstock.

I wrapped around some Petal Pink ribbon and secured it with a Basic White Twine bow.

Next I fussy cut out one of the building images in the Les Shoppes Designer Series Paper, which I adhered down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Let’s Go Shopping Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight ink. I put the smallest banner die over one side of the sentiment and ran it through **halfway (don’t do it all the way or else this trick won’t work).

I flipped the banner around, lining up the grooves, and cranked it through **halfway again. This way I got a full banner out of the one die.
