Stampin’ Up! *NEW* Hot Air Balloon Birthday Card

This week I’ve been using the really fun (and brand new coming January 4th) Hot Air Balloon Bundle.

It worked great with this week’s sketch challenge!

Hot Air Balloon Card Details:

My card starts off with Calypso Coral cardstock.

I then took a pattern from the Lighter Than Air Designer Series Paper and matted it on a Basic White mat.

I took another pattern and adhered it at an angle and cut off the edges that overhung.

I then wrapped around some Flirty Flamingo Baker’s Twine in a bow.
(This baker’s twine, along with all the new ribbon and embellishments are included in my Product Share!)

I stamped the hot air balloons in Flirty Flamingo (stamping off for the lighter shade) and Azure Afternoon ink. I also stamped the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink.

I then cut the balloons and sentiment out with the Hot Air Balloon Dies.

Lastly, I added some Azure Afternoon dots around (also included in my Product Share).
