Stampin’ Up! *NEW* Merry & Bright Card

Today we’re continuing with another card using the amazing Merry Bold & Bright Collection (available starting Sept 6th).

Although I didn’t use the Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper for this particular card, it’s included in the collection.
It’s bold and it’s bright and it’s perfect for non-traditional Christmas cards and beyond!

Check out my alternate card that I made using the same layout as this Christmas card at the bottom of this post!

Merry & Bright Card Details:

My card starts off with Shaded Spruce cardstock, on which I adhered a pattern from the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper.

Next, I took a Basic White panel and embossed it using the beautiful Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder.

Under that, I adhered a piece of Vellum cardstock.

Then I stamped the light bulb image five times in Real Red ink. I cut it out, along with Basic White filament and Shaded Spruce “bottoms” (I have no idea what they’re called) using the Merry & Bright Dies.

I adhered everything today and then to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then wound some Silver Trim through the lights and added some iridescent discs around.

I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink, and fussy cut it out.

Thanks for swinging by today!

Be sure to come back all this week for lots of inspiration using this fun collection!

The Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper in this collection is so fun!

I took the same general layout as the Christmas card above, but made it into a totally different card with the Hello Ladybug Stamp Set.!

  1. Love both cards! The green plaid is perfect for Christmas and the polka dots are so fun with the ladybugs! 🙂
