Stampin’ Up! NEW Splendid Thoughts Hexagon Card

This week I’m using the brand new (available July 1st) Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set and Splendid Days Designer Series Paper for my cards.

What I love about this product is that it’s good for projects all year round and is great for beginners!

Splendid Thoughts Card Details:

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock.

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and embossed it with the Hexagon Embossing Folder and then put a piece of Vellum over it to soften the look.

Next I used the varying sizes of hexagons from the Beautiful Shapes Dies to cut out two patterns from the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper and one from Rose Gold Specialty Paper.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Petal Pink ink.
