Today’s card wraps up this week’s projects using the Perennial Lavender Suite Collection.
Of course with the Perennial Postage Dies I wanted to try and make a postcard looking card.
Perennial Lavender Card Details:
My card starts off with Crumb Cake cardstock, on which I adhered a pattern from the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.
I took the same pattern and used the small rectangle die to cut out a “postage stamp.”
You do this by cranking the die halfway over the cardstock, flip it over and align up the cut out lines, and run it through halfway again.
I then took another pattern from the same pack and used the “postage stamp looking die” to emboss over the “postage stamp.”
I used the Perennial Postage Dies to cut out two Basic White labels.
The one I used as a mat for the patterned paper, and on the other I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink.
I stamped the lavender in Gorgeous Grape ink, stamping off first for the lighter shade, and cut it out, along with a Lost Lagoon sprig, using the Painted Lavender Dies.
Lastly, I used a Blending Brush to add Highland Heather ink over a cut out Paper Butterfly and added Purple Gems along the body to hide the Mini Dimensionals.
Thanks for swinging by all this week for lots of inspiration using this gorgeous product!
