This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!
My card starts off with Shaded Spruce cardstock. I then used the Pine Tree Punch and cut out a bunch of Shaded Spruce trees. I adhered them across the card front and then trimmed the ones that hung over.
Next I matted a pattern from the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper on Gold Foil cardstock.
I took a panel of Night of Navy cardstock and used the Pine Tree Punch to punch a tree in it. I adhered it over the DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set in Golden ink.

GORGEOUS!
Sweet! Love the plaid background paper and the punched tree over it is perfect! Great design! 🙂
I love this!! Those tone-on-tone trees are genius – and the cut-out plaid? Genius++ 🙂
Beautiful, Jaimie. I just ordered that punch, and now I have more ideas of how to use it. Thanks for your lovely design.
Oh my goodness…what a beautiful clever card this is!!! I love the punched background AND the way you punched your tree with the patterned paper showing under it!
Love the way the cut out the tree let the DSP shine! I might need to CASE this one! Darling and fun!
