For today’s card I used the Spotlight Technique with the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set.
It’s super easy but has a really cool effect.
My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set on it in Memento Black ink.
TIP: When stamping, I used the Stamparatus. This allowed for exact placement when stamping on the card front, as well as stamping on the triangles.
I then cut out three triangles using the Stitched Triangles Dies. I stamped the same sunflower image on them in Memento Black ink. I colored the images using the Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered them over the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Well Said Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Cajun Craze cardstock. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I used a special technique to make the die fit the sentiment.
To see how you can adjust the die to make it fit a smaller (or larger) sentiment, you can check out this video (go to about 10 mins in).
Next to the one triangle, I added a couple of Cinnamon Cider Enamel Dots.
Thanks for checking out my project today!
Be sure to swing by my store to grab the makings so you can make it as well.
