Who’s excited it’s Friday!

My card starts with Real Red cardstock, which I embossed using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. I first stamped the holly image from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.

I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut out a piece of it. I used Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler ink pads to color in just the piece that was cut out and matted it on a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
I used the Stitched Be Mine Dies to cut out a scalloped piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock to go to the left of cut out piece and adhered it all down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Shaded Spruce cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. I used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to cut it out.
I used this technique here to customize the size of the die to the sentiment. (You can skip ahead to 17 mins to see how I did it.)

Lastly, I added a few rhinestones around.
Thanks for checking out my project today!
Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday Challenge.

Just beautiful Jaimie! Love the spotlighting on the holly, perfect way to use that pretty image! 🙂
This is stunning, Jaimie. The spotlight technique takes it to another level of beautiful.
Beautiful crispy clean Christmas card! I love how you only colored part of the image and the clear gems are perfect for the uncolored part! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
So gorgeous, Jaimie! Love that crisp color play holly, and your sharp embossed sentiment floating over it – it’s all so buttoned up! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
