Stampin' Up! Stitched All Around Birthday Card

This week’s Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!

Tomorrow is my baby girl’s birthday. She’s turning 9!

I always decorate the house with balloons and streamers the night before while they’re sleeping so they wake up to it. I always do it in “their colors” and make a coordinating card.

Well, this year my daughter has announced she likes black and purple.

My card for her 9th birthday starts off with Highland Heather cardstock. I then took a panel of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and embossed it with the Dot To Dot embossing folder. I matted it on Basic Black cardstock.

Next I used the Stitched All Around Bundle to cut out the beautifully stitched die cut from Whisper White cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink.

I wound some Black Trim behind the sentiment and adhered everything down using Stampin Dimensionals.
