Stampin’ Up! Umbrella Days Rainy Days Card

This week I’ve been using the new Umbrella Days Bundle.

It’s available as a preorder to demonstrators now and will be live to customers starting November 5th.

It was perfect for this week’s Sketch Challenge!

Umbrella Days Card Details:

My card starts off with Balmy Blue cardstock, which I embossed using the Timber Embossing Folder.

Next, I used the Umbrella Days Dies to create my umbrella from Fresh Freesia cardstock and a Bubble Bath pattern of Designer Series Paper.

TIP: To get the part of the umbrella that the DSP pieces will glue to, I made a stencil, traced it, and fussy cut it out.

I then traced the top of the umbrella on a piece of Post It Note tape to create a mask.

I put the mask on a Basic White panel and stamped the rain all around it in Balmy Blue ink.

Underneath I offset a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Umbrella Days Stamp Set in Fresh Freesia ink on Bubble Bath cardstock and cut it out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch.

Thanks for swinging by today!
