Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Shapes Birthday Card

Today I’m rounding out this week’s cards using the Watercolor Shapes Stamp Set.

All this week I’ve given you ideas on different ways to use the stamp.
Today I’m sharing how you can use the shapes for “lazy coloring.”

You know, when you have an image that needs to be colored but you don’t feel like fully coloring it.
Stamp a shape over it!!

Watercolor Shapes Card Details:

Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Shapes Birthday Card

My card starts off with Melon Mambo cardstock, which I embossed using the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder.

Next, I matted a pattern from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper on a Basic White panel.

Next, I stamped the flower and leaf from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set on a Basic White panel.

I stamped the large circle over the flower in Melon Mambo ink and Parakeet Party ink over the leaf, stamping off first for a lighter shade.
I then matted this on Silver Foil.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink.

I added Silver Twine underneath it and some Silver pearls around.

Thanks for checking out my card today!!
