This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a sketch challenge. Happy hopping!
For today’s card I’m featuring the Waterfront Stamp Set. This is a set I initially overlooked and then started seeing what everyone was creating and needed it!
It makes the “wow” factor so easy. The images are all watercolor, but they’re stamps!
I start off with Chocolate Chip cardstock. Next I took a pattern from the True Gentleman DSP and matted it on Very Vanilla cardstock.
Next I took a smaller panel of Very Vanilla cardstock to create my scene. I used the Waterfront stamp set and Crumb Cake ink (mountains), Dapper Denim ink (both water images), and Tranquil Tide ink (trees). I matted this on a panel of Tranquil Tide cardstock and adhered it to the card front.
I strung through a True Gentleman Button some Linen Thread and tied a bow. I also stamped the sentiment from the Special Celebrations stamp set in Tranquil Tide ink. I adhered the sentiment using Stampin Dimensionals.
For me the Waterfront Stamp Set is a MUST HAVE! In fact it is the featured stamp for my March stamp parties!!! You can check out all my parties on my Facebook page.
