For this month’s Make and Take Party, I used the Sunshine Sayings Bundle and this was one of the cards we made. I like to keep party cards simple and easy, but that doesn’t have to be boring. This card is very easy to make, but with a few different laying components.
I started with a base of Thick Whisper White and layered it with a pattern from the By The Shore DSP. I then took a strip of Blushing Bride and layered it over the DSP and cut a piece of Doily to layer over the right of it.
I then cut a strip of Mint Macaron and put a strip of Blushing Bride Ribbon at the top of it. I cut a little butterfly (or is it a flower?) and thread a piece of linen thread behind the ribbon and through the butterfly wings and made a bow out of it.
I then took the framelits from the Sunshine Sayings Bundle and cut out a “love” and “hope” to place over the Mint Macaron. I then stamped the “& Hugs” in Mint Macaron and placed it to finish off the sentiment.
