I can’t even begin to believe it’s almost August.
I’m holding onto summer tightly and still love playing with pretty flowers and sweet birds in my cards.
My card today starts off with Pool Party cardstock which I embossed using my FAVORITE embossing folder, the Subtle EF.
My card was inspired by the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. You can get pretty creative with this sketch and I hope you’ll play along with us this week!
Next, I took the polka dot pattern from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and matted a piece of it on Whisper White cardstock.
Underneath it I tucked a Whisper White circle which I cut out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. I used our super sharp Paper Snips to fussy cut out a bird from the Bird Ballad DSP and adhered him down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Label Me Pretty Stamp Set in Versamark ink on a 2″ piece of Calypso Coral cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it. I cut the top of it using the Delightful Tag Topper, wound a piece of White Flax Ribbon through it, and secured it with a staple.
Lastly, I added a few pearls around the card.
