Before I show you my card, I first need to show you my inspiration, this week’s challenge over at Sunday Stamps.
Okay, now that I’ve showed you that, we can move on to my card…
I started with Early Espresso as my base and layered it with Cajun Craze on Very Vanilla.
I then took the Woodgrain embossing folder and dry embossed a piece of Crumb Cake and cut it into 3 separate pieces. I took a pattern from the Petals & Paisleys and cut it in a strip and layered it with some Very Vanilla Lace Trim.
Next I used the Totally Trees Stamp Set to create my tree which I cut out using the Layering Oval Framelits. I initially wanted to do the Baby Wipe Technique; however, I realized you have ink refills for this technique. So, I made my twist on this technique. I used a dry paper towel and picked up some color (Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze) on it and just kind of smeared the stamp in different spots with each other and voila!
I created my sentiment using the Thoughtful Banners stamp set in Pumpkin Pie.
Enjoy!
