Stampin' Up! Let It Ride Watercolor Card

Happy Monday everyone!

I’ve always said watercoloring is not really “my thing.”
However, my daughter is obsessed with horses and I knew I NEEDED the Let It Ride Stamp Set.

So I opened up the Occasions Catalog and really tried to follow how Stampin’ Up! colored their horse.

My card starts off with Mango Melody cardstock. I took a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock and embossed it using the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and then matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I stamped the horse from the Let It Ride Stamp Set in Stazon Black Ink on Watercolor Paper.

I used an Aqua Painter and Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, and Mango Melody inks to color in the horse. I used Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green ink to color in the grass.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Let It Ride Stamp Set in Versamark ink on a pattern from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. I adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
