Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship Congratulations Card

Yesterday we had a great color challenge for our Thursday blog hop.

I actually ended up making two cards with the colors, and liked them both.  You can see yesterday’s card here.

My card today starts off with Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out one rectangle from Whisper White cardstock and one from Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.  I embossed the DSP using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

On the Whisper White panel, I used the Beautiful Friendship and stamped the flowers in Poppy Parade and Blackberry Bliss ink and the leaves in Old Olive ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink.

Lastly, I wrapped around a Poppy Parade bow.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Poppies Congratulations Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

As you’ll see in my card below I had no trouble with the Poppy Parade and Old Olive, but struggled with the Blackberry Bliss, so I sorta tucked that color in 😉

My card starts off with Poppy Parade cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the outline of the flower and leaves in Memento Black ink.

I took the flower “fill” image and stamped that in Poppy Parade ink over the flowers.  For the leaf, I inked it up in Old Olive ink but only stamped down a side of the stamp so as to keep the ink inside the leaf (as the image is much bigger than the leaf).  I then matted this on Basic Black cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Basic Black cardstock.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I cut it out using the coordinating Painted Labels Dies.

Underneath the sentiment I adhered a Blackberry Bliss banner and tied a Blackberry Bliss bow next to it.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Parisian Beauty Off To Places Card

I love when two stamp sets from different catalogs work great together!!

I’m using the Parisian Beauty (from the Jan-June Mini Catalog) and the Above the Clouds (from the Annual Catalog) Stamp Sets for today’s card.

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock.  On this I adhered a pattern from the Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper.

Next I stamped the Eiffel Tower from the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set in Petal Pink ink on a 2″ panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the end in a banner and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the stamp from the Parisian Beauty Stamp Set in Petal Pink ink and fussy cut it out.  I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out a small circle from Petal Pink cardstock.  I adhered the stamp on the circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Above the Clouds Stamp Set in Pool Party ink.  I then snipped it in half and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Witty-Cisms Graduation Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Basic Black cardstock.  I then cut another panel of Basic Black cardstock and embossed it using the Corrugated Embossing Folder.

Next I took panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the congratulations from the Delightful Day Stamp Set in Memento Black ink across the front, sometimes not re-inking in order to get a lighter shade.

I then matted this on Gold Foil and wrapped a Basic Black knot around it.

I stamped the “you did it” from the Witty-Cisms Stamp Set in Memento Black ink and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I then used the Layering Squares Dies to cut out a scalloped Basic Black square and Gold square to layer underneath it.

I then lastly added a few sequins from the Peaceful Poppies Sequins to the one corner.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Small Bloom Punch Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.

On the card front I stamped the small leaf multiple times from the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

I used the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set and stamped one of the flowers in Versamark ink on Vellum cardstock.  I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I did this multiple times and then used the Small Bloom Punch to cut them out, as well as a bunch of other flowers from Pool Party and Petal Pink cardstock.

I adhered these down cascading down the card.

I used the Christmas Cardinal Dies and cut out little swirls from Vellum cardstock to add around the flowers and then added some rhinestones to finish it off.

I stamped the sentiment from the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Pool Party ink, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship Congrats Card

This week is Christmas.  I’ll be posting as normal (except for Wednesday).

I hope you have a great week ahead!  My kids are now home and it’s my favorite vacation of the year.

It’s freezing here which forces us to stay inside and relax.  Kids will play with new Christmas gifts.  There’ll be many PJ days and lots of board game playing and stamping for me.  It’s a super relaxed week and to tell you the truth – I’m more giddy about the week ahead than actual Christmas day (which can be a bit chaotic).

Christmas cards are done so I’m back to making regular every day cards (which are much needed as my stash is depleted.

My card today starts off with Pear Pizzazz cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the flowers from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in So Saffron ink and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz ink in the corners.  I then tucked a Soft Sea Foam pattern from the Subtles Designer Series Paper pack behind it.

I then stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship in Pear Pizzazz ink on Soft Sea Foam cardstock and snipped the end in a banner.

I wound some Whisper White Baker’s Twine underneath and added a few pearls around it.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Blog Hop

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “Celebrate.”  Have fun hopping around to see how everyone interpreted “celebrate” this month.

I decided to make congratulations cards celebrating a new baby.

Yesterday I shared how much I love the Parisian Blossoms Suite in the 2020 Jan-June Mini Catalog.  Consider today’s card Part 2 to yesterday’s as I’m using the Parisian Flourish, Petal Pink Metallic-Edge Ribbon, and Champagne Rhinestones from the same suite.

My card starts off with Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then took a panel of Petal Pink cardstock and embossed it using the Petal Flourish Embossing Folder.  I cut off 1″ from the bottom, and then another 1″ off.  I threw away the second cut and adhered the top and bottom using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

In the negative space I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set in Petal Pink ink.   I wrapped around some Petal Pink ribbon and added a few Champagne Rhinestones.

I figured while I had everything out, I should go ahead and make another card for a new baby boy.  I used all the same product except used Pool Party, Whisper White Baker’s Twine, and regular Rhinestones.

Here they are together…

Stampin’ Up! Feels Like Frost Congrats Card

The Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper is gorgeous!!!

One side has silver geometric patterns, but the other side has beautiful, photographed images.  This paper is worth getting all the attention of a card, so I kept it super simple today.

My card starts off with Purple Posy cardstock.  On it I adhered a pattern from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the sentiment from the Special Celebrations Stamp Set in Versamark ink on Highland Heather cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I used the Lovely Flowers Dies and cut out small flowers from Purple Posy and Highland Heather cardstock.  Lastly, I added Rhinestones on each of the flowers.

(You’ll notice one rhinestone had fallen off when I photographed the card; however, I realized this just in time before sending the card out 😉

I needed two of these cards, so I took another pattern from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper and used Seaside Spray and Night of Navy cardstock.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Congratulations Card

Today’s card is pretty simple…but the stars are SO MUCH FUN!

They’re in the Holiday Catalog and shown primarily used for holiday stamping, but I think they’re perfect for all occasion cards – the possibilities are endless!

My card starts off with Blackberry Bliss cardstock and then I adhered a Whisper White panel over it.

I then used the Stitched Stars Dies to cut out stars from Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock, and Mint Macaron cardstock.  I also used the smallest star to cut out negative stars to let the Blackberry Bliss show through.

Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Delightful Day Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock ink.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Fab Friday Challenges.
