Yesterday I shared a card using the DSP and today I’m sharing a gift holder/treat holder.
I made this project as part of my Tuesday afternoon live tutorial on Wednesday at 1:00 EDT.
I’ll be sharing all the steps to make this card, but to get all the exact measurements to cut the DSP and cardstock, as well as a step-by-step tutorial of this card and the other four that will be shared this week, get my Weekly Tips & Updates email. Next week I’ll be sharing all the details!
If you ever miss a tutorial, you can always check them out on my YouTube Channel.
Now watch the video below to see step-by-step how to put this box together:

Birthdays. Graduations. Anniversaries. And just because.
There are plenty of reasons coming up why you’ll need to give a gift and I have a really sweet gift holder to help!
It’ll fit Stampin’ Up! embellishments, ribbon, chocolate, or anything really!
You’ll need to start off with our Ombre Gift Bag. Then to create your flowers, stamp the jar and flowers in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. I cut the jar out with the Jar Punch. I colored in the flowers using Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends and fussy cut it out.
I folded over a piece of Polished Pink ribbon and adhered the jar and flowers over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then added a couple of jewels next to it.
Next I created my notecard by cutting a Basic White panel 3″ x 6″, scoring at 3″. I colored it the same and added the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set.
Pause for a funny story, I had the bag, card, and envelope ready to go. Well, my youngest for Mother’s Day ran downstairs to my stash and filled it out for me before I had photographed it. So here’s how she addressed the envelope – “To: Miss Mother” with some hearts coming out of the jar.
I guess my plain jar wasn’t good enough. 😉
Lastly, I trimmed down an envelope to make it fit the small notecard.
You’re going to want to check out the video below to see how I made the gift bag, card, but more specifically, the envelope! Have fun making a beautiful gift holder for your beautiful gift!
