Stampin’ Up! Bike Ride – Two Ways

My first order from the 2018 Occasions Catalog arrived and I’ve started playing with a few of the new goodies.

You are going to LOVE the new catalogs!!!!!

I feel like a kid in a candy shop playing with brand new product.  There’s something about opening a new packet of DSP or ribbon…so exciting.

Also be sure to check out my Product Share of all of the new Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, and Embellishments.  I offer a number of options and you can check out all the details here.

My Facebook Live Video Wednesday night at 7:30 EST will feature the new Picture Perfect Party Suite.  Swing by as I give you a tutorial of a brand new card.  I have fun, and am very real, as I’ve been known to run out of adhesive, forget names of product, and even go live upside down.  🙂

On to today’s card…

I am all caught up on Christmas cards so I thought I’d use the Bike Ride Stamp Set today.

It’s been a bit since I’ve used it and I had so much fun, I thought I’d make two cards.  I’d love to know which one if your favorite.

Card number one starts off with Berry Burst cardstock.  I then took a panel of White Shimmery cardstock to create my scene on.  I cut out a circle using the Layering Circles Framelits from copy paper to create a stencil.  Next I put it over the Shimmery cardstock and colored the top part in using an Aqua Painter and Powder Pink ink and the bottom using Berry Burst ink.

Next I stamped the bike from the Bike Ride Stamp Set in Archival Black ink, as well as the flower clusters in two of the corners.  I used an Aqua Painter to color the flowers in using Berry Burst ink and the petals using Tranquil Tide ink.

I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set in Archival Black ink.  I matted the Shimmery White cardstock on Tranquil Tide cardstock and adhered everything to the card front.

Card #2 starts off with Tranquil Tide cardstock.  Next I stamped the bike from the Bike Ride stamp set in Archival Black ink in the center of a panel of White Shimmery cardstock.  I also stamped the flower cluster in Archival Black ink hanging off the bike.

I colored the bike and flowers in using an Aqua Painter and Berry Burst ink and Tranquil Tide ink.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Archival Black Ink from the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set to the left of the bike.

Enjoy!
