This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is Celebrate. I created a card to celebrate a birthday. Happy hopping!!
My card today features one of the FREE Sale-a-bration items available beginning January 3rd…the Lots of Lavender Stamp Set. It includes a lavender bunch, as well as a flower cluster and two-step stamping.
My card starts off with Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I took a panel of Old Olive cardstock and embossed it using the NEW Simple Stripes embossing folder (available to order January 3rd). I matted this on Whisper White cardstock and adhered it to the card front.
I stamped the lavender bundle outline on Whisper White cardstock in Versamark ink. I sprinkled it with Gold embossing powder and heat embossed it. I stamped the lavender image in Rich Razzleberry ink over the flowers and the leaves and bow in Old Olive ink. I cut this out using the Layering Ovals Framlits. I cut out a gold label using the Everyday Label Punch, cut it in half, and adhered half on either side of the oval.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Lemon Zest stamp set on Whisper White cardstock in Rich Razzleberry ink. Behind it I wound around some Gold Thread. I also put a Rich Razzleberry banner behind it, as well as a piece of Mini Gold Sequins.
Enjoy!
