Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Blank Card

Sunflowers and plaid…yes please!!

Looking at this card, I can almost feel fall in the air….well, that is if it wasn’t still hotter than anything out there.

My card starts off with Cajun Craze cardstock.  I then adhered over it a plaid pattern from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper.  I then matted a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper on Cajun Craze cardstock.

I stamped the sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  I colored it in using Mango Melody and Pumpkin Pin (sunflower), Old Olive (leaves), Soft Suede (center) Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut it out with the coordinating Sunflowers Dies.

I used the same dies to cut out sprigs from Pretty Peacock cardstock and leaves from Old Olive cardstock.  Underneath the flower I wound around some Gold Thread and adhered it over a Gold Hoop.

I couldn’t decide where to place the sentiment, so I ended up leaving the front blank and just adding a thank you sentiment to the inside.
