Stampin’ Up! Cozy Trees

Today’s card share is inspired by this week’s challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches and Fab Friday.My card uses Delightful Dijon as its base which I dry embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder.

Then I layered Very Vanilla on Emerald Envy and stamped the larger tree from the Foxy Friends in Emerald Envy and then the smaller tree in Emerald Envy (stamping off first).  I used the masking technique to give a sense of depth to the trees.

Lastly I cut out a strip of the Delightful Dijon Ribbon from the Trio Pack and after deciding the placement of it, I stamped the sentiment from the Stitched with Cheer in Delightful Dijon above it.  These colors felt like a cozy fall evening which is why I chose that sentiment.  Fall is in the air!!
