Stampin’ Up! Excellent Eggs Thinking of You Card

This week I’ve been using the Excellent Eggs Bundle for my cards.
I love it because not only does it make great Easter cards, but there’s also this beautiful “thinking of you” sentiment.

I would mail this card to a friend “thanking them” for their friendship (yes, I know it’s a stretch for the challenge this week).

Excellent Eggs Card Details:

My card starts off with Petal Pink cardstock, on which I adhered a Petal Pink pattern from the Basics Designer Series Paper.

I then took a panel of Petal Pink cardstock, embossed it with the Basics 3D Embossing Folder, and used the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut a circle out of it.

I then matted this on Basic White cardstock.

Next I stamped the egg image from the Excellent Eggs Stamp Set in Memento Black ink. I used a smaller circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out a circle from it. (Yes, a little of the egg edge will still show).

I colored it in using Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink (bunny) Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered it inside the cut out circle with Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black ink, which I fussy cut out, and then I added a couple of Petal Pink dots next to it.

I also stamped the bunny image in Memento Black ink, which I cut out with the Excellent Eggs Dies.
