Stampin' Up! Happy Holly-Days Thinking of You Card

I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving.

I thoroughly enjoyed family time and am ready to share lots of beautiful projects with you this week.

What can you expect?
I’m going to be taking one layout and working it different ways.

I love a layout sketch because it gives you something to work off of.

Stampin’ Up! Holly Days Thinking of You Card

My card starts off with Real Red cardstock.

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the holly in two corners in Memento Black ink (stamping off first). I then matted this on Basic Black cardstock.

Next, I adhered some Black & White Gingham Ribbon and stamped the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship just above it.

I stamped the bird and holly from the Happy Holly-Days Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink and colored them in using Real Red, Old Olive, and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. To lighten the belly of the bird, I used the Color Lifter in a couple of places.

I fussy cut them out and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
