I loved the sketch over at Paper Craft Crew this week because it challenged me to come up with all the different elements to this card (and there were many).
So here we go…I used Cajun Craze as my base color and layered it with Very Vanilla. (Side note: I think it’s funny how there are certain “fall colors.” I honestly haven’t pulled out my Cajun Craze or Delightful Dijon all year.) I then took a pattern from the Petals & Paisleys DSP and layered it over more Cajun Craze to go at the center of my card.
Before moving on, I put a strip of Burlap on the bottom right edge of the DSP and also stamped the leaf from the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set twice in the upper right hand corner in Delightful Dijon and tied a Linen Thread Bow around it.
Next I did a slew (yes, slew) of layering in the middle of the card using the cardstock Garden Green and Delightful Dijon. I used the one picture with an acorn from the Lovely as a Tree to stamp a couple of times in the center and also used the single leaf (fussy cut out) to layer over the sentiment. The sentiment comes from the Thoughts & Prayers Stamp Set.
