Today’s card uses lots of new product from the 2018 Occasions Catalog!!
Last week’s Facebook Live Tutorial was showing how I made this card and someone even remarked on how quickly it came together.
Great cards come from simple stamping, great patterned paper, and fun texture!
My card starts off with Peekaboo Peach cardstock. Next I took a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock (see video for cut sizes) and embossed it using the NEW Simply Stripes embossing folder. I adhered it on an angle. Then I took a pattern from the Picture Perfect Party DSP which is full of bright colors and great images and adhered it on the opposite angle.

Next I cut a strip of Bermuda Bay ribbon to go horizontally across the card. I added a banner of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock just above that.
Lastly I created my stamped images from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set by first stamping the bottom of the candles in Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay, and Lemon Lime Twist and then Peekaboo Peach for the flame (first stamping off for a lighter color). I then stamped the birthday sentiment in Memento Black ink over the candles.
