Stampin’ Up! NEW Simple Splendid Thoughts Card

The Splendid Day Suite in the new July-December Catalog is so fun!

I’ll be using it all this week for my cards.
What’s great is that although it’s in a catalog filled with all things fall and Christmas, it’s an all-occasion suite that can be used year round.

Splendid Day Card Details:

My card starts off with Night of Navy cardstock, which I covered with a pattern from the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper.

Next, I took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the leaf and bee in Night of Navy ink. Over the leaf, I stamped the filler image in Pool Party ink. (The images do not line up, like at all, and are meant to give an artistic look.)

I then embossed the panel using the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder and matted it on a panel of Night of Navy cardstock.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink, but fussy cut out just the “much love” to have a shortened sentiment. I cut Mini Dimensionals in half and adhered it to the card.
