Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain Happy Day Card

This week I’ve been using the Playing in the Rain Bundle for my cards.

It fit perfectly for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop Sketch Challenge.

Playing in the Rain Card Details:

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock.

I then took a pattern from the Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper and matted it on a panel of Basic Black cardstock.

I then cut out a “rolling hill” from Pear Pizzazz cardstock and used a Blending Brush to add color around the edges, which I adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then stamped the sentiment, turtle, and flowers in Memento Black ink, coloring them in with the Dark and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers, Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers, and Light Pumpkin Pie (for the flower centers) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I then cut all the images out, along with Basic White clouds, a Crumb Cake stump, and Pear Pizzazz tall grass using the Playing in the Rain Dies.

I colored along the edge of the stump and grass using a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake and Pear Pizzazz ink.

I adhered everything to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thanks for checking out my card today!
