Stampin’ Up! Sunflower Here for You Card

Today’s card wraps up this week’s projects using the Sunflower Embossing Folder.

While I know fussy cutting isn’t for everyone, when you have such amazing detail in an embossing folder, I think it’s well worth it.

(Am I the only one who sends these kinds of cards to someone I know will fully appreciate the time and effort put into it?!)

Sunflower Card Details:

My card starts off with Darling Duckling cardstock, which I embossed with the Sunflower Embossing Folder.

I then matted a pattern from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper on Basic White cardstock.

Next I embossed Darling Duckling, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie cardstock using the Sunflower Embossing Folder and fussy cut out the sunflower, center of the sunflower, and two sets of leaves.

I used a Blending Brush to add some added color around the edges in the same color as the cardstock and adhered the pieces together.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the More Messages Stamp Set in Pecan Pie ink and cut it out with the coordinating dies.

To finish it off, I add some Linen Thread behind the sentiment and some Darling Duckling Pearls around.
