Stampin’ Up! Party Puffins Birthday Card

You know when you tell yourself you don’t NEED that stamp set…
and then you see everyone making the most adorable cards with it and suddenly you NEED it immediately?!

Am I the only one?
That’s what happened with the Party Puffins Stamp Set and I am so glad I got it!!

Stampin’ Up! Party Puffins Birthday Card

My card starts off with Bermuda Bay cardstock which I covered with a pattern from the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper.

**The Snail Mail Designer Series Paper is retiring and only available right now while supplies last! So don’t wait!!

Stampin’ Up! Party Puffins Birthday Card

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and used the Stamparatus to stamp the puffin in Memento Black ink.

I used the Stamparatus because I wanted a really dark, crisp stamped image and would highly recommend using it if you’re stamping with the Party Puffins Stamp.

Stampin’ Up! Party Puffins Birthday Card

On a separate piece of Basic Black, I stamped three fish, the puffin with the party hat, and the sentiment. I colored everything in using the Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers,

Stampin’ Up! Party Puffins Birthday Card

I fussy cut the fish out and the party hat off and adhered them down. I then added a few rhinestones around the fish.

Stampin’ Up! Plentiful Plants Thank You Card

It’s Friday!!!!

Who’s doing a little happy – or big – dance today?!

I have a great card to share with you today, but be sure to check out something super fun and exciting coming up – all the details are at the bottom of this post. Hint: It involves this suite of product!

Stampin! Up! Plentiful Plants Thank You Card

My card today starts off with Mint Macaron cardstock, which I embossed using the Macrame Embossing Folder.

Stampin! Up! Plentiful Plants Thank You Card

I then matted a pattern from the Bloom Where You’re Planted Designer Series Paper on Basic White cardstock.

Stampin! Up! Plentiful Plants Thank You Card

I used the Plentiful Plants Bundle to create my plants. I stamped the pots in Flirty Flamingo ink for a pop of color and the plants in Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz ink. I cut them out, along with the macrame holders using the coordinating Perfect Plants Dies and adhered them down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin! Up! Plentiful Plants Thank You Card

I stamped the sentiment from the Plentiful Plants Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo Ink and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies, adhering it down with Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Plentiful Plants Thank You Card

Lastly, I added a few Genial Gems around the plants.

Thanks for checking out my project today.

I did a live tutorial on how to make it this past Tuesday. You can check out that video below.

Stampin’ Up! Right Behind You Card

Sometimes when you don’t know what to say, a card does the job.

The Right Behind You Stamp has some really great sentiments of encouragement and friendship and helps make the perfect card to send to show your love and support!

I used it for this week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop sketch challenge.

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! Right Behind You Card

I then took a panel of Garden Green cardstock and cut the hill using the Basic Borders Dies. I did this first so I would know placement of the bicycle.

Stampin’ Up! Right Behind You Card

Using the Stamparatus, I stamped the bicycle and flowers above the hill.

I used the Stamparatus: A) Because I knew it would take a few goes with the Memento Black Ink Pad to get perfect coverage and a crisp look and B) Because I could stamp the bicycle and flowers exactly where they needed to go.

Stampin’ Up! Right Behind You Card

I colored the images in using: Polished Pink (shirt and flowers), Fresh Freesia (shirt and flowers), Ivory (skin), Crumb Cake (hair), Daffodil Delight (hair), and Pale Papaya (flowers) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin’ Up! Right Behind You Card

I then wound around some Linen Thread into a bow. I stamped the sentiment from the Right Behind You Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ Card

My first paper crafting love was scrapbooking. I don’t do it nearly as much as card making (like, once a year as much), but I still love it.

When I saw the What’s Cookin’ Bundle in the Annual Catalog, I knew I NEEDED it for card making and scrapbooking.

Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ Card

Just think – holiday pictures, barbeques, and fun times cooking in the kitchen. I can’t wait to use it for scrapbooking!!!

Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ Card

But last week I used it for my live Wednesday night tutorial to make a fun card. I love the stamped background and the polka dot embossed cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! What’s Cookin’ Card

But do you want to know what my favorite thing is about this card??

The little thread around the handle of the cutting board. Silly, I know. But I just love that little detail.

I’ll be back tonight on Facebook at 7:30 EST with a new card. It’s a, well, um, sorta, uhhhhh…Christmas card.

Don’t throw any tomatoes at me. I was in the mood to make a Christmas card the other day. So join me tonight live. It’s actually a fun fold card, well, a ridiculously easy, almost too easy to be called fun fold card.

If you ever miss any tutorial, you can always check them out over on my YouTube Channel.

Now, to see how I made today’s card, check out the video below:

Stampin’ Up! Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card

Birthday cards are probably the most sent cards. There are always plenty of birthdays coming up that need a card.

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “birthday.” Have fun hopping through the blogs getting lots of inspiration!!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card

My card starts off with Polished Pink cardstock which I cut 8-1/2 x 4-1/4 and scored at 4-1/4 for a square card. I embossed the front using the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card

I then used the Hippo & Friends Dies and cut out a Basic White label. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet as a Peach Stamp Set in Polished Pink ink.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card

I stamped the branch from the Sweet as a Peach Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen ink, the flowers in Polished Pink ink (including the little centers), and then cut it out with the Peach Dies. I adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card

I then tied a Polished Pink bow to go over the branch and added a few Jewels around.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Birthday Card

The Artistic Dies are GORGEOUS and really make a statement.

I love the floral image, as well as the big leaf image and think I’ll be coming back to play with these dies a lot.

Today I used the floral die for a simply designed card.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Birthday Card

My card starts off with Thick Basic White cardstock.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Birthday Card

On another panel of Basic White, using a Blending Brush, I added a little Poppy Parade to the corner. I then adhered this down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then used the Poppy Parade pattern from the Ombre Specialty Paper and cut out a floral image using the Artistic Dies. I adhered this down using liquid glue only on the center.

Stampin’ Up! Artistically Inked Birthday Card

The Artistically Inked Stamp Set has a great birthday sentiment, but I wanted one more scripty, so I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set in Memento Black ink, fussy cut it out, and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly, I added some rhinestones around and a silver bow.

Thanks for checking out my project today!!! I hope you feel inspired to create beautiful, simple cards!!!

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Happy Card

You might’ve seen by now that I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE the Art in Bloom Bundle.

Mostly because it’s a trio bundle (stamps, dies, embossing folder) and I think you get a lot of value from it.

I first made a wedding card that you can see here and then I made a friendship card (with video tutorial) that you can see here. Today I bring you another card which I equally love.

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Card

Today’s card starts off with Just Jade cardstock, on which I adhered a Just Jade pattern from the 2020-2022 In Colors Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Card

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the other floral image in Bumblebee ink and then the inside floral image in the same, but stamping off first. I then ran this through the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Card

Using the dies in the bundle, I cut out Bumblebee flowers to go around the stamped flowers.

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Card

Next I stamped the sentiment in Just Jade ink on Mint Macaron cardstock, cut it out with the same dies, and adhered down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Masculine Biggest Wish Birthday Card

For this week’s color challenge, I’m using the Biggest Wish Stamp Set to make a birthday card!

This stamp set has quickly become a favorite because of its big, chunky words that can really fill a card with lots of color!

This card will actually be my son’s birthday card. His birthday is Sunday and I always enjoy designing a card specifically for each of my kids.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

My card starts off with Basic Gray cardstock which I covered with a pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I then took a panel of Basic White cardstock and stamped the birthday from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set in Real Red, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, and Bermuda Bay ink. I used the Stamparatus to stamp so that I got a perfect, even line of words.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I then stamped the happy over in Memento Black ink.

Stampin’ Up! Biggest Wish Birthday Card

I matted this on Real Red cardstock and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Friend Card & Video

I am all about value.

Before being a demo especially, I had a tight budget and needed to get the most out of the items I bought. (Mostly why I became a demo – to have the discount)

Looking through the Annual Catalog, hands down I think the product with the most value is the Art in Bloom Bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Friend Card

It’s a trio bundle – stamp, dies, embossing folder!

Stampin’ Up! Art in Bloom Friend Card

The value comes in that you can use all three together, each piece separately, or any combination of mixing the three. So. Much. Value.

Today’s card is the one I shared a few weeks back and in the video I share two other cards using this bundle – one I shared a week or so ago and the second I’ll share on Friday.

I’ll be back tonight with another live card tutorial over on Facebook at 7:30 EDT. I sure hope you join me – if you, you’ll have a chance to win the card!!!
