Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color sketched.  For the color of choice I used Petal Pink.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Petal Pink cardstock which I embossed using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.

Next I put a panel of Gold Foil to the left of the card and added two Petal Pink sequins over it.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Stitched All Around Stamp Set in Versamark ink, sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I cut it out using the gorgeous Stitched Labels Framelits.

Under the sentiment I adhered a piece of Whisper White Tulle Ribbon and Gold Cord.  The Petal Pink/Whisper White Baker’s Twine came from the Petal Pink/Silver Baker’s Twine and I just pulled out the Silver thread.  I adhered the frame down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Blog Hop

This month’s Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop theme is “Celebrate”.

I decided to make a card celebrating friendship during the holidays.

My card starts off with Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I then took a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and stamped the Buffalo Check Stamp Set in Memento Black ink over it.  I then matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

Next I used the Foliage Frame Framelits to cut out a frame (Soft Suede) and other floral details to go behind it (Mossy Meadow, Shaded Spruce, Pool Party).  I also added some Burlap Ribbon behind it all.

Next I cut out a circle using the Layering Circle Framelits from Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Woods Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink and the pinecone in Soft Suede ink (stamping off twice first).

Lastly, I added a Cherry Cobbler bow to finish it off and adhered everything down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Baubles Christmas Card

I was stumped with today’s card.

I didn’t know whether I should use Cherry Cobbler or Real Red cardstock, so I took to my Facebook page for help.

Although there were a few Real Red fans, Cherry Cobbler won hands down.

So my card today starts off with Cherry Cobbler cardstock which I embossed using the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and used the Beautiful Baubles Stamp Set to stamp the ornaments all along it.  I stamped them in Versamark ink, sprinkled them with Gold Embossing Powder, and heat set it.  I then matted this on Gold Foil.

I wrapped around the panel some Cherry Cobbler Cotton Thread.  I tied a bow and attached a piece of Mini Sequin Trim.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Gold Foil, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and heat set it.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! *NEW Bloom By Bloom Card

I don’t know about you, but life seems to be busy.

And many times when I tell people I’m a paper crafter their response is – Oh, I would love to do that, but I don’t have the time.

But no one ever said paper crafting has to be complicated or even time consuming.  So today I’m going back to the basics – stamps, paper, embellishments – for a super quick and easy card.

My card starts off with Highland Heather cardstock.  I took two panels of Whisper White cardstock, one to be matted behind the other.

On the one Whisper White panel I stamped the images from the new (available Jan 3, 2019) Bloom To Bloom Stamp Set to create my flowers.  The stems were stamped in Old Olive ink and the blooms in Highland Heather ink.

I used the masking technique to give the illusion that one flower was behind the other.

Next I stamped the sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Highland Heather.  I wound around some Linen Thread for a bow and added a few pearls around the flowers.

Enjoy!

If you love the Bloom to Bloom Stamp Set and would love to get your hands on it before January 3, 2019, consider becoming a demonstrator.  You can add it to your Starter Kit as part of your pre-order!

Stampin’ Up! First Frost Congratulations Card

As I write this post it is snowing so beautifully here in Upstate New York.

I know many aren’t a fan, but I always figure, if we’re going to have the cold, it might as well be beautiful with snow!

Is it sunny and warm where you are?  Or cold and full on winter?

My card today starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the vine twice in Pear Pizzazz ink.  Then I matted it on Petal Pink cardstock.

I used the Frosted Bouquet Framelits to cut out the Whisper White frame, as well as the sprigs from Soft Sea Foam cardstock and Gold Foil.  I adhered some Gold Mini Sequin Trim and a piece of the *new* Whisper White Flax Ribbon (coming Jan 3rd).

I stamped the flowers in Petal Pink ink and cut them out with the same framelits and stamped the sentiment in Petal Pink ink as well.  Lastly I added a few Gold Sequins around the card.

Enjoy!
