Stampin’ Up! Best Dressed Just a Note Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

My card today starts off with Purple Posy cardstock.

I then took two patterns from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper, matted them on Whisper White cardstock, and offset them over one another.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flourshing Phrases Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I cut it out using the Painted Labels Dies.

I used the same dies to cut out an Old Olive scalloped detail for under the sentiment and added a few Old Olive rhinestones.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Ride with Me Birthday Card HSS#337

Today’s card is one of the most versatile cards I’ve ever made.

Yes, it’s a birthday card, but it can work for just about anyone – Kids, adults, women, men, and for all ages.

It’s part of our new challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Be sure to play along!

My card starts off with Poppy Parade cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and cut strips of Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Pumpkin Pie cardstock and adhered them over it.  The strips are 3-3/4″x 3/4″.

I then stamped the truck, balloons, and sentiment from the Ride with Me Stamp Set in Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock.  I colored it in using Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Ivory (window), and Smoky Slate (wheels) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut it out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  Underneath I tied a Poppy Parade knot and then adhered the truck over it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Hello Card

There’s a fun sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches (see below) and I went on the hunt in my stash for an image that had a diamond shape.

I grabbed the big magnolia image from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set and kept to a clean and simple card.

My card starts off with Pool Party cardstock.

I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the image from the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set in Memento Black ink.  I colored it in using Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight (petals), Mossy Meadow (leaves), and Pool Party (highlight) Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I then matted this on Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I stamped the hello in Memento Black ink and adhered it down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Enjoy!

I stamped each daisy twice from the Daisy Lane Stamp Set in Daffodil Delight ink.  I cut them out using the Daisy Punch and Medium Daisy Punch, adhering them down with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the Frosted Bouquet Dies to cut out a few “sprigs” from Soft Sea Foam cardstock for under the daisy.

Lastly I added a Linen Thread bow and a few Pearls to finish it off.

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Chic You Are The Greatest Card

I sort of stumbled on the colors in today’s card.

I started off with the Pool Party and then layered under it the Grapefruit Grove and I have to say I LOVE these colors together.  They look so “yummy” together.

My card starts off with Grapefruit Grove cardstock.  I then took a pattern from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper, cut it at an angle, and matted it on Pool Party cardstock.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tropical Chic Stamp Set in Grapefruit Grove ink and then stamped the palm leaf in Pool Party ink over it (stamping off first).

I cut it out using the Layering Circles and a Pool Party scalloped circle for behind it.  I added a Grapefruit Grove bow next to it.

Enjoy!

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps Challenge.

Stampin’ Up! Verdant Garden Card

I sure hope you all are well and holding up!!

I hope this week’s cards bring a smile to your face.

My card today starts off with Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  I then took a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the one image from the Verdant Garden Stamp Set on it in Soft Sea Foam ink (stamped off first for a lighter shade).  It’s hard to notice, but I matted this on Mossy Meadow cardstock.

I then used the Stitched Shapes Dies and cut out a circle from the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper.  I used a smaller circle and cut out two circles from Mossy Meadow cardstock.  I used the same die that I used to cut out the DSP and cut into each of the Mossy Meadow circles.  I then embossed these using the Subtle Embossing Folder.

I adhered the circles down using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then stamped the sentiment from the Beauty Abounds Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow ink.

Enjoy!

Stampin’ Up! Two Cards Using Love You To Pieces Stamp

What color do you struggle using?

You know, that color that you avoid almost at all cost.
For me it’s yellow…and then orange (unless it’s fall).

But when I saw the FabFriday challenge (see below), I wanted to challenge myself.

I took inspiration from Tami White’s card

My card starts off with Mango Melody cardstock.  I then took a Daffodil Delight pattern from the Brights Designer Series Paper and matted it on Whisper White cardstock.

I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and used the Puzzle Pieces Dies to cut out a big puzzle.  I stamped the “love you” in Mango Melody ink and “to pieces” in Terracotta Tile ink from the Love You To Pieces Stamp Set.  I adhered these down using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Lastly I added a Daffodil Delight bow.

Because the first card used so much yellow and orange…I then decided to make a card using the same stamps and dies and still using the challenge colors, but just a little less of them.

Here they are together.  Which one is your favorite?

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Thank You Card

This week’s Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop is a color challenge.  Happy hopping!

I decided to try my hand at a #simplestamping card, so you’ll see a simpler card than I usually do.

My card starts off with Old Olive cardstock.  I then stamped the flower from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set in the corners in old Olive cardstock.

I then adhered a pattern from the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper across the front.

Next I took a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I used an Old Olive and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker to add color to the palm tree stamp from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set.  I then stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink.

I matted this on Soft Suede cardstock and adhered a piece of Braided Burlap Trim next to it.
